Throughout history money has derived from authority as far as i can tell. Bitcoin is not an authority, so how can it suceed as money? Its just a grassroots movement, the real money, the next money, is yet to arrive.

Well, I'm very serious about it. Besides having the properties of money, Bitcoin is decentralized, transparent and immutable. The fiat money is as strong as its government and economy.
