yes, Derek is cool - I quite like his books and writing style: short, clear, and fun.

I really like the book "On Writing Well" by William Zinsser. I have re-read it a few times, lots of good advice on being clear and brief.

Writing longer form back and forths on SN, under the threat of being read and contested, has made me so much better at communicating. It's crazy.
