What is the simplest path to the best Nostr experience starting from zero?
Create an account on Damus, and then put your npub in the Alby extension to access other clients.
Alot of plebs already have the alby extension, and Damus is just an app download away.
I know its not the most secure method, but IMO its pretty simple

Apple had Damus remove zaps, the link above puts the zaps back in!
And whatever you do, dont generate your Nsec (private key) with Zebedee.
And Stacker news is a great lightning address to receive your zaps
And Primal is a very nice nostr desktop client
