"Plan ahead for the Supracycle."
I'd probably have more questions than anything. I think it might be one of those time travel things where fixing mistakes has some kind of butterfly effect that dooms the whole thing.
What would you tell yourself (regarding SN) if you had a time machine?

Tough! I don't think we've existed long enough to know what's actually a big mistake yet.
The whole founder thing is a never ending series of mistakes and learning so it's hard to isolate one of those. Sometimes it's important you make a small mistake to learn how to avoid a bigger one.
  1. While absolutely keeping my current crop, getting more founders as investors might have been advantageous.
  2. While I always try, trying harder to socialize.
  3. Most of the other stuff is life/lifestyle oriented (but work impacting).
I can still correct most these things fortunately.

Seeing both of these together, I'm reading 'socializing' as socializing on SN. I do think keeping the common touch might be one of SN's strengths. I'm always impressed by this.

Oh I meant socializing irl 😄
I do socialize a lot on here! It's challenged me to write more and it's made my thinking clearer so nothing I'd change about that.

Thanks! Yeah it's why I still write the newsletter. I tend to feel disconnected from products that have lost their homemade vibe. Plus we are still very small and homemade so it'd be silly to begin to pretend otherwise.
