pull down to refresh

NFL kickoff tonight. Hopefully a good game between the Chiefs and Lions.

I will be rooting for the Lions and hoping for some awesome gloating by our resident Lions fans on Stacker Sports tomorrow.

So it seems everyone agrees that an additional 1k sat weekly bounty for NFL picks is a good idea. Narrowed it down to two ideas. Let me know which one you prefer and I will roll out the first bounty tomorrow.

a) 5 games with the closest spreads each week. Pick the winners straight up. Most correct wins.

b) 3 games SNF, MNF and one more premium matchup Sunday game. Pick the winners straight up. Most correct wins. I would rather do a Sunday game for the 3rd game instead of TNF so I can run this event on Fridays after most of the survivor pool picks are likely in.

Which way NFL fan?

Sats for all.

Cheers,
GR

B) makes it very easy to follow

LETS GO LIONS but if chiefs win I got some action on the ML! the more they win it will boil my blood but hey at least I can win some fiat. And if they lose money well spent!!

i zapped you another 100, because after that game i am absolutely stealing this for my profile pic

reply

Absolutely, I stole it to share with you in the first place …

This is amazing. Quite a call. Too bad about the fumble. Had to jump on during halftime to see how the Lions fans were holding up.

reply

shit, this lions fan is holding up just fine! new kids on defense making plays, giving the defending champs a run for their goddamn money! no complaints outta me

🤣 that's amazing!

go lions! kneecaps are back on the menu!

reply

lions 1-0, defending superbowl champion kansas city chiefs 0-1

that's a good day right there

how we feeling so far @Public_N_M_E?

reply

This is why we Lions fan always keep a positive attitude, especially when it comes to the Lions …

Imagine when Hutchinson isn't going against a guy lined up 3 yards behind C and false starting on every play.

He did finally get caught at the most important point of the game. So I guess the refs only missed about 30 penalties on him.

Good news. This rule in effect only against the Chiefs and you don't have to worry about them again until the SB. Who am I kidding the Chiefs aren't making the SB. Bunch of scrubs. Haha

reply

Works for me… I think we deserve it

reply

Was that what it looks like when your 1st round picks hit for multiple years in a row?

It's week 1. It's always weird. Besides the chiefs were missing Kelce and everyone knows they're one dimensional. 😜 nah good game, well played. Lions D looks legit. I tried to get Hutchinson in my drafts but just couldn't seem to land him. He's going to be a huge problem to opposing teams.

reply

just had to get some shit talk in before the vikings go this weekend

reply

Always 😜 chiefs did look awful though. Their secondary looked non existent. ARSB was wide open all the time. When the lions get Jameson Williams back. They could be a problem.

Haha trash talking already. Love it.

Great game. D was impressive.

I also like b. That seems like the kind of idea a smart handsome person would come up with.

reply

Lol, but seriously, running a pool is a lot of annoying work. Go with option B

Go with B

I like the idea of the prime time games. I also like the idea of closest spreads. Could it be a combination? SNF, MNF, and then closest spread remaining?

I’m imaging a game thread where people all get on and comment while the prime time games happen lol

reply

Does this mean it’s a separate pool from the survivor pool already established? Either way I vote for option B

reply

Not really a pool. Just a fun weekly contest.

reply

B) seems simpler, perhaps less work on your end. I am up for either option.
