Like the title says I've never bought a sh*tcoin. Maybe its beacuse I did some actual research before I considered putting money into the sector.

I remember bitcoin clicking for me when I read that you can only take it down by shutting all the computers off that run it at the same time and how that would be extremely hard and impractical. I was already interested when I heard of the scarcity and how it's decentralised.

I've heard it compared to gold and real estate but only digital and I completely agree with both of those.

Sh*tcoins will always lose to bitcoin beacuse they are cheap knockoffs but without one of the greatest features of bitcoin, the fact that it is not run by any 1 person or group of persons. It is more like a force of nature, nobody controls it and it does what it wants. It'll blow your face off when you least expect it just like a tornado.

Did you guys skip the sh*tcoin phase? If so why? If not, what made you give them up?
