If you ever stored your seeds (or keys) in LastPass, you should move those funds to another wallet, as a safety precaution.

‘The seed phrase is the money’…. So why would you trust it to an online custodian?

You shouldn't, but I guess many people did, assuming the encryption of the password manager was solid. Many vaults might still being cracked at this moment, so for those that made that mistake, it would be better to move those coins as soon as possible.
