I think you just deleted the comment to which I replied right?

But I actually meant this comment from me:

Welcome to the not so anonymous anymore XMR holders circle :)

I deleted my comment now :) Do you see what I did here?

haha, but I think I didn't really delete my comment

And also, you gave me an idea:

We could create "reverse threads" by replying to each other and then before the 10 minutes run out, we edit all comments so it looks like the conversation started in the future and the further down you go in the replies, you reach the start of the conversation

interested in doing this in today's daily discussion? :)

I would love self destructive comments and timers but probably not priority for SN to create

Very good privacy idea! To be honest, I didn't like the delete feature when it was released (that was before I was part of SN) but now, I think it's reasonable :)

I think I just was a "the internet never forgets"-hardliner so I didn't get why we should allow deleting comments

Would be a funny spin if I now write code to allow automatic deletes, lol :)

I'll create a ticket and will see how much work that would require

lmao!
hack the simulation
aka build it to taste! :)

Are you in? :)

I have some thoughts about this you might forget by morning. ;)

If we can never forget who we have been, will we ever dare try becoming someone new?

There's a reason "doubling down" and "cancel culture" are prominent concerns these days. It's a stagnating, immobilizing phenomenon– on all scales.

Because the only way intelligent beings (societies or individuals) can learn is by making errors, and correcting. Without error, there is no error-correction.

But who wants to make an error when he is always wrong? This is what social media, what "the internet never forgets", brings us. A society of immobilized thinkers carrying their bags of how to never be wrong again. How to never be open to anything, or admit to anything. Total drag!

I dream of a forgetful internet <3
