I just created a comment in the discussion about the NIP44 encryption standard, revision 3.

Nostr is missing security experts who can be an authoritative sources to tell if the proposal is secure or not.

So if anyone here thinks they can help, please do so! Nostr is a community effort and if nostr wants to be taken serious, we should take protocol level stuff which includes cryptography seriously.
