I posted something similar yesterday but have a follow up. I just found out there's a Butcher shop that opened up in my general area that recently accepts Lightning/Bitcoin!!!

YES! Even though it's totally out of my way, and will be a trip in its self to get to... I'm 100% making time to do this and document it and share it.

Why?

Prove it.

You say it's a P2P, trustless, permissionless money?

Prove it.

You say it's a global, borderless payment network?

Yes, prove it.

Cmon! This is on all of us!!!!

How does this make a Network effect? Because it's COOL 😎. Telling a random pleb, or coworker or friend that you went to a local cool spot and paid with Bitcoin is BADASS.

"Oh yeah, that awesome coffee? Paid in bitcoin."

"Oh, this Tomahawk steak I'm grilling tonight... paid in bitcoin."

And even better is showing and treating someone. It'll open eyes and blow minds.
