Sorry friend. Wrong person to ask. I don't know anything about design. I just know what I find appealing. I can highly recommend @artdesignbySF if you are looking for someone who has a clue.
BW version shouldnt contain greys. Just pure black. It has to be further simlified to work in one color. I vote B

C is great on BW but to color it's lost the contrast. Maybe change the orange color. What about purple.. 🤘

Yeah I told him to change it to 5 nostriches instead... but he preferred the romantic 69 and only 2 nostriches

Voted for C, but I like how B looks as well.
C won out because it's far easier to design a monochrome logo with the flatter style.

A for colour.
C in B&W - this looks like a black and a white swan which is a cool idea. (i realise they are actually ostriches). It also reminds me of ☯️ .. I'd follow this one more and see where it takes me
