Yes Alby is made as an interface tool, while it does have its own LND hub you can use to get started, you can connect your own instance of Lightning from your node, either LND, Core Lightning, LNDHUB or an LNBits extension, they all work

Just add a new account under your alby wallet and then pick your preffered node connection
