Summary: Sweden took the most liberal approach to the pandemic of any country and had no lockdowns, didn't close their borders, didn't force closure of any schools, and had no mask mandates. Individuals social distanced and masked in ways that made sense to them. Sweden suffered a similar number of deaths to their Nordic neighbors that used stringent lockdowns, and even fared remarkably better in some areas. Their economy is doing much better than other European countries and saw no drop in children's test scores. Overall, Sweden proves that the lockdowns used in most of the world were completely unecessary to fight COVID-19
