In the short term markets are dumb and emotional. In the long run the collective decisions are superior to those made by central authorities. Its this tension that throws people I think.

This decision is not final. This decision does not change the central value of Bitcoin. Just like hype about the latest tech that is a flash in the pan, this spike will fade. The true value of Bitcoin is in its utility and incentives. Those haven't changed. People just don't yet understand it. They will in time as it is proven time and time again.
