that link is nonsense

just use graphene, or calyx if you can't afford a pixel

Here's a good guide for getting started with graphene

https://bitcoiner.guide/grapheneos/

Never heard of it... Will check it out dude

The link does actually recommend graphene (right at the end) but you don't need to be "technically savvy" to use it

there are some good tips but they're generally minor compared to the massive benefits you'd get from using graphene in combination with a vpn and a wifi hotspot.

plus stuff like ditching gmail, facebook, twitter app etc.

stock android is the worst, sure you can patch some holes but you're better off using apple, or ideally graphene (without a sim) for max privacy

same situation with windows - just switch to linux, it's much safer

I stopped using Linux when I got out of college.. I want to go back to it. It used to be fun

reply

it's a lot of fun if you use qubes!

very easy to start over with disposible VMs

reply

Step 1: Unlock the bootloader
Step 2: Install any open source rom you want

And don't trust the blog they just want ad money so they don't care about your privacy
