Occam was not a scientist or technician. He was a philosopher. His theory refers to problem solving, not "rule, system, or device." Occam's Razor can be applied in support of bitcoin. Rather than the twisted layers of rehypothication and derivates applied to fiat currency, bitcoin is a simple, pure bearer asset.
The base layer, in fact, has been criticized as too simple by some.

This is true and I find it funny, because the most profound things in our human record are the simplest: fire, wheel, Pasteurization, compass, rolling ink on paper, electricity, 1s and 0s of binary code, etc.

100%. Usually the real big innovations' first iterations of the innovation are the purest and best leaps forward. This is why Bitcoin is tens of thousands in fiat price and Shiba Pepe Coin is worthless.
