I don't see why a client running the client the way the maintainer wants is a bad thing, the owner of the site took the risk to build the service and wants to do things they think will keep it improving, if thats a good decision or bad one is up to the community

Censoring people could push them away to other clients, and their content wont be available but not censoring could alienate your current user base. I know nostr should be about sorting out your own feed, but hey if clients want to get involved and not have their service a free for all for anyone to post their butthole thats up to them
