Rendezvous routing is literally putting traffic through a middleman. It's weak against DoS inherently. Connectionless is the way it should be done.

Pretty messed up the only option people have for privacy is a network of "volunteers". I mean, does anyone seriously believe that the majority of them aren't being run by spooks already?

What reason does anyone have for running a Tor relay, even just an inner network relay? I have run one at times but even without providing exit service the spam-weakness of the system leads to you getting blacklisted everywhere.

Nobody ever does anything for free without getting something via another way. The naivete of the people is amazing.
