My wife works with people who have Parkinson’s and helps raise funds for PPSOE in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. So I would like to help her, and also help orange pill the folks in Ethiopia with my effort. There are however a couple challenges I can see. Just for context, the poverty there means that the money goes to very basic things like walking aids, blankets, perhaps meds, food etc.
  1. The BTC will very likely be converted to local fiat (Burr) which creates a challenge. Find a willing buyer on Robosats?
  2. Transactions in Bitcoin are illegal there. So buying with Bitcoin is not a good idea. (Definite jail time)
  3. What other problems might I encounter?
