Few minutes ago tipping some sats.
Mostly because most people income is on FIAT, I'm pretty sure that's what's making Bitcoin acceptance for everyday use somewhat difficult.
So, most of us, need to take an extra step to convert FIAT to BTC.
In the practical short term mind of an average Joe, what's the sense to buy BTC and another extra step to find some merchant that accept it?
We gotta be honest with ourselves. There are only 3 basic scenarios why we use BTC.
First, we enjoy the whole idea. (As I do)
Second, trying to hide your movements.
Third, you have an income with BTC or gotta use it for practical reasons (eg. International transfer).
That's why I believe it's very important to use your Bitcoin. This is the only way to make it accepted by more and more people.
Without the guy who paid $10,000 Bitcoin for a few pizzas then we wouldn't be here today.
That's what I tell myself when I tip 30,000 SATs to someone who doesn't truly appreciate it.
