The drive alone from Vancouver to Whistler is incredible.

Man I wanna go see more of the world again. I think I got too bogged down with the day to day mundane grind. Need to make time for traveling.

I hear ya. Great to go see natural wonders like the Rocky Mountains. I find it invigorating. We live in a ski resort town on lake huron. I am 5 minutes walk to the lake and 7 drive to the "mountain" (lets be honest it's called a mountain but its just a giant hill).
Since moving here from the city I haven't had a great desire to go travelling but maybe in couple years when my daughter is older we will do a family trip to Europe or something to that effect. I would like the kids to do some travelling and see a bit of the world beyond Canada and the US.

Sounds amazing. Put Prague and Budapest on your list of places to see in Europe. Hugely underrated cities. Truly teeming with culture.

Did you get a chance to listen to some tunes from the band I sent you yesterday?
reply
I've given the middle ground album a quick run through. And I'm getting a sort of pearl jam-esq vibe but with vocals a bit more like Matt Bellamy or at least his lower/mid range or Brian molko but without the nasally twang. Or maybe early RHCP sounds. It's hard to place it. But it's got that post grunge sound with early 2000s indie. Thanks for this, I don't think I'd have ever come across it normally.

I did not. I got distracted. I'm still working on a few from yesterday. Had close to the edge by yes recommended so with the length of rick wakeman solos you know that took me all day. I shall try to get to them 2moro. It was vacuity wasn't it? I've got it written down to have a listen on lunch break.

Close To The Edge! Who recommended that? Steve Howe and Chris Squire were an amazing combo. Somehow Wakeman got more publicity.

@orthzar recommended it. I really enjoyed "and you and I" 10mins didn't seem that long I was enjoying it loads.
