Slice doesn't pay you in sats. They pay you in some shitcoin, and then you might be able to exchange them to sats, but it's not a given, and I think there are some restrictions to exchange, like waiting some time, etc.
From their FAQ:
Slices are not cryptocurrency. They are simply our in-app currency that you can exchange for real money.
