I've read that ads from websites and apps can track people's location. There was some tech researchers sometime ago that bought ads and was able to track many of Tesla employees, so it's a security risk.
Yes, and regardless of the company's intention with the data, the data could be used against you by a state actor. This has happened in the US already many times. The devices and apps we do are spying on us.
I haven't dug into Tesla but I've read and seen others work on the cars and there is now way I'd be comfortable owning one.
