I believe I've seen a similar service already.
Users would be asked for an email address, any email address, when creating an alias. Users could then log in to a dashboard to manage their aliases, create new ones, or redirect them to a new Destination Address
Why not LNURL Auth instead of email?

Do you know the service you saw? I can't find anything.
LNURL Auth would be an easy add, will definitely do that.
