Suppose you've been storing your coins in a pricey Casa 3-of-5 multi-signature vault, but you've lost confidence in Casa over the years, particularly now that they've added Ethereum support. You certainly don't want to lose your coins, but you could use the money you've spent on Casa to accumulate a lot of sats.
Do you think Unchained Vault is a dependable substitute for Casa?
I was astounded to learn that they only charge $20 if you need them to sign with their backup key; the remainder of the service is free! Is this an incredible opportunity to save money and stack sats, or is it too good to be true?
Furthermore, how should someone feel about downgrading their life savings from a 3-of-5 multi-sig to a 2-of-3 multi-sig?
Lastly, do you have any other suggestions for safe, long-term bitcoin storage?
Just asking for a friend :) Thank you!
