Phoenix works just fine if you don't mind switching applications for zapping. If you want in-app zaps then Alby is a good one.
I may try to go through the multiple linking up steps required to use Alby and phoenix. But I'll do that when I have a better understanding of how it works. Until then I'm just getting set up before I start exploring different wallet set ups etc. It's a very steep learning curve when your only exposure to BTC prior to SN Nostr and Fountain was... Buy on exchange move some to exodus, move most to cold storage.
I'm really just scratching the surface of LN

Thanks, I found a guide by a verified guy (Tony) on Nostr which was excellent and comprehensive. So I ended up just using wallet of satoshi. Super simple and works fine in app with amethyst.

Hey, happy to hear my guide helped! I do encourage you to gradually move your LN funds to a self-custodial solutions as your stack grows. Phoenix suggested in the comments above is a good option. You could also use Valet, Breez and.or Blixt as an alternative. These wallets require a bit more understanding of how thing work, but it is a very important step to make as in an unlikely scenario of the fall of WoS or any other custodial wallet it would be a pity to have any significant amount of funds there.
The ultimate solution Is of course running your own Lightning node and managing your channels, but I've realized that this amount of work and knowledge is not for everyone and is more of the enthusiasts' and geeks' cup of tea.
That said, have a look at different self-custody solutions - @DarthCoin has a ton of useful guides on different LN wallets here: https://substack.com/@darthcoin
And of course feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I'm more active on Nostr:

Thanks @Tony and I appreciate the effort you went through to compile the guide in a way that even users with an extremely basic understanding could at least get started whilst they figured stuff out.
