A lot of talk about the creepy factor but my interest is in the transparency, the ERC20 token that is run on the ever centralizing Ethereum network and the security of it.
I didn't even know it was an ETH token. My assumption was that it was going to be its own layer 1 chain at least. Hmmph. I didn't spend much time looking into it, maybe five minutes, but I was trying to find the tokenomics, the emission and inflation schedules. Never did see it. That fact and what you just wrote, to me, kind of reflects a lack of interest in these things. I did see somewhere that someone wrote that 1/4 of the tokens are reserved for a foundation or something like that. One of the biggest flags there is is pre-mine.
