I don't think Lightning is the end of L2. It will be super interesting to see what other forms emerge, but I think real use cases for how people want to use btc in practice -- other than just hodling -- are necessary for it to emerge.

That's one reason I'm so excited about SN: a practical use of btc / lightning to serve a real need. Changes what is possible w/ online communities. Who knows what will emerge when other tangible needs begin to be addressed?
