Nostr could emerge as a data layer for L1 still, a P2P marketplace for goods is inbound, my Nostr and BTC private keys are both stored on the same Coldcard, and NIPS, BIPS, BOLTS... Hard for me to think of it as a discrete protocol "totally unrelated to bitcoin", even though technically, you are correct.
