His looks more the double-struck capital X from unicode math symbols. From the family of symbols that denote special sets of numbers (think doublestruck R for the real numbers, double struck Q for the rationals, double struck Z for the integers, etc)

I mean "X" is the kind of corporate branding that 13 year olds come up with and think its "cool".
Other X-brandings that come to mind for me are Xbox or iPhoneX. I'm sure there are many many more
