Understandable. Fun fact since you are a hockey guy. After I gave up on supporting the Leafs I became a Red Wings fan for 2 years. Thought I needed a team to cheer for but my fandom fizzled out quickly.
Yeah. It wasn't in your blood. As a Jets fan I rooted for the Giants twice- both SBs versus Pats. My hatred for Brady and Belichick trumped all. Haven't rooted for the Giants since.
