Simple:
- Go to your DNS admin page
- Add A record, paste your node public IP, add a name for the host, eg. btcpay
- click save and wait 1-6h to be propagated into domain names worldwide
- go to https://ping.eu and ping your new host btcpay.my-domain.com see if responds. If yes, you are done. If no, then is not propagated and/or you did something wrong.
- If responds to ping, also you can check the port used by your BTCpay server, usually is 443. So you need to open that port on your local router, pointing to your local node machine internal IP.

Yeah that’s where I’m having trouble. I do own the domain, it is static, but not really sure how to connect figure the DNS. I’ve tried a few variations and they don’t seem to work (404 etc.)
