Is Chromium bad at the core though? The Brave ad blocker is probably one of the better ones out there too? Turn off the shitcoinery in Brave and it's a pretty good brower imo.

Any specific things you're concerned about with Chromium? What does Google gain from the open sourced Chromium browser engine?
