Where I live a house is worth a lot more than 1 Bitcoin. I could get the house, sell it and buy many Bitcoins.

If I can't have both, I guess house. Kids need a place to grow up that we own as a family (until wannabe despot Trudeau expropriates it of course) but I would not buy another house instead of bitcoin (in fact I used to own two homes and sold one last year and about half of the profit from that sale has gone into bitcoin over the last year and a half).

Needs more details, otherwise I'd just take the house and sell it for more than one BTC.

I'd add in a time clause. You are offered either 1 BTC or 1 house, but it will only be granted 5 years from now. Neither is spendable or usable before then (i.e. you cannot live in the house yet).

If choosing "1 Bitcoin" means not having "1 house", I think I would choose the later then. The kids need roof over their heads.
