I need bitcoin to take the power of fiat printing away from the states, first and foremost. I don't just 'want' it or 'hope for' it, I NEED it. I've been working towards that goal for longer than bitcoin has existed. I know what kind of evil is done with fiat and don't want to live in this world any longer.

Otherwise, yeah, I need bitcoin the savings tool. That's important too, countering inflation. But payments and remittances is something the global south (formerly the 3rd world) needs, not us 'muricans.
