Working on web dev portfolio today, going to catch up on econ podcasts in the background. It's crazy hot today, so hiding indoors and being very grateful to have AC
It's my mom's 71st bday today so my dad is going to watch my youngest, while my wife and I take my mom to the local casino for a few hours this afternoon (she doesn't like the evening crowd-haha). At least it is not a shitcoin casino. It shall be fun but if we don't win I will be regretting the lost fiat that could have gone into bitcoin. I am bringing $120 and not a penny more. 100 bucks to play roulette and 20 bucks to toss into a one armed bandit.
On another note. A slot machine that takes fiat but pays out in sats would be a cool idea.
Crazy! 500,000 “missing” silver coins and 9,000 gold coins. I know Bitcoin is a solution to stop this but I know their is someone who thought this was a legitimate way to save their money and poof just like that rugged by some soulless bastard!
Happy Wednesday everyone, hope the ones in the US have recovered and recharged from your independence day and ready to get the wheels back in motion, it seems this summer will be a hot one so take precautions, markets are looking good and profits can be made, I'll just DCA and keep on hodling, pulling a Seylor hehehehe. I wish you a fantastic hump day and get things cracking, you've got this and you know it, it might not feel like it but trust in your abilities. Just keep on keeping on. Be well my friend and as always, stay frosty.
Orange pilled 3 people today. Well, I got them to download WoS and receive some sats, but it's a start.
One guy is a programmer so he immediately understood the value of being able to seamlessly transfer 1 sat to anyone, anywhere.
Another guy is more finance-oriented so he also understood that transferring $0.00033 is impressive. He's still in the "bitcoin is an investment" mindset so he was more concerned with how to exit the investment and take a profit, but when I told him "Dude, it's just money. If not today then within a few decades you won't need to sell it" I could see the gears starting to shift a bit.
The third guy is very new to this, but at least I got him on the path.
