It's p2p in terms of the transaction is the idea I think. Not much different than either fb or cl in that way, yeah, but you can get a phone number that isn't tied to your identity, and people are selling illicit things in this one by the looks of it.

Peer-to-peer
Buyers and sellers contact each other directly through private message
And exchange with bitcoin

People can buy, sell, and trade whatever they wish at their own risk.

Right, but through a centralized server. Not peer to peer. Peer to peer doesn't just mean "two people talking to each other". Not knocking it, just saying it's disingenuous to call this p2p.

From the wikipedia page:

Telegram provides end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls[21] and optional end-to-end encrypted "secret" chats. Cloud chats and groups are encrypted between the app and the server, so that ISPs and other
third-parties on the network can't access data, but the Telegram server can.

P2P is kind of spectrum, but I get your point.

I guess my gripe is that phrase. p2p has always meant system to system direct connection, as long as I've ever seen the phrase. (since napster, and then bittorrent, right?)

Anyway, maybe I'm just nit-picking.
