Just reading the title made me realize that people use so many centralized crap from the big tech companies. Meta, Twitter, and Google.
People don't realize that they are giving away their attention to these big tech companies, which are making money off it selling it to the highest bidders.
These people buying your attention are placing themselves in your mind, your thoughts are being created by that, and then your decisions and actions, which are actually your life.
Lots of people are giving away their lives for nothing, and these companies are fighting to get it.
No need to use these products. Anything that has a feed that is curated personally to you is basically someone else controlling your life.

We got Nostr now! If we really must, we could train our own transformer engine to filter out the trash for us. The impact of AI in the hands of individuals is only just starting.

Wondering if this is a new strategy by Facebook?
They seem to have enjoyed using open communities to uncut competitors - see the LLAMA “leak”.

When you think about it, it's the exact same game theory dynamic that guarantees Bitcoin will prevail in the long arc. Adoption cost is lower the more broadly a software system is supported. There's more engineers who can help you set up Bitcoin for any purpose than any other single platform.
In the same way as Zuck kicks his opponents asses by adopting the enemy's tools and open sourcing them, countries that ban Bitcoin will be attacked by other countries PROMOTING it. The end result is inevitable. What can't be banned must eventually become normal.
