There are lunatics anywhere in the world. No corralation to a freedom asset like btc. You might need to get a wider perspective of the social community of bitcoiners and its behavioural characteristics.

You'll often find that evil people will choose to place themselves into not-mainstream topics to influence their growth, knowing that people into those topics will be forced to integrate with them because of how small the interest base is. This muds the water and makes others think that it has a higher proportion of bad people.
Otherwise, I listen to maybe 10-15 different BTC podcasts, and read Stacker News and links, and am on Nostr.
And no, it's nowhere near a majority that seems abusive, but it seems higher than people in general.
