First off; a big 'thank you' @k00b for setting up and running this site.
I know it's not an issue right now, but moving forward (and I speaking from personal experience) you may need a moderator or two. If it comes to that, I'd like to volunteer my time and help you out.
I'm happy to help in some capacity too.

I got tipped less than 10 seconds after posting :D

LOL sats are still ridiculously cheap for the value of this board... it's so fun to send them around. Stacking free Lolli sats daily and trying to spend them here.

:D My initial investment comes from playing Lightning Crush and Bitcoin Bounce...

Big thanks for offer of help.
We will eventually need mods, although I hope to enable anyone willing to sacrifice sats to "moderate" effectively - like you can downvote posts etc if for like 5 sats. Open to more ideas around this.
The best way to help SN today is probably:
  1. sharing it with the best bitcoiners you know
  2. finding/posting great content and starting great discussions
  3. thoughtfully engaging with content other users post
I need to write a manifesto on how to be a great stacker so we can all figure out how to best build the site. After I sprint out the next set of features, this will probably be what I do and I'll be looking for insights in dang's writing from years of moderating HN https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27497174.

Incentives.
Rather than have users sacrifice sats to downvote, have the poster stake sats with every post. If the post is not marked as spam within X days, they get the staked sats back.
Sphinx uses this concept, seems to work well.

Cool, yes this is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. Anything that enables decentralized moderation.
