With Mimble Wimble Coming Soon (TM) to Bitcoin's monetized testnet (lol, LTC), have any Bitcoiners taken a look to see if it could be a safe addition to Bitcoin in the future? Privacy will only become more important in the years ahead.
Mimblewimble is cool but has lots of attack vectors, wouldn't ever want to see it on bitcoin's base layer but would be great as a higher layer

Excellent point. We need many more different/competing L2 solutions. Currently only OMNI, Lightning and Liquid are functioning and TARO is coming soon (tm).
Only Liquid creates more private and more fungible BTC. Arguably Lightning makes BTC a bit more private and fungible as well (?) but like I said, more competition in this field is very wanted.

I wanted to say that with liquid, the privacy is frequently misunderstood. Their confidential transactions still show the sending and receiving address, although they hide the asset type and amount.
