Yes, I would say so. In a phase of a downturn people with high time preference will sell you out to get a quick bounty or to find a scapegoat.
Keep the ball low and only selectively reveal yourself in a group of people e.g. family in which a quick buck would be a large trade-off.
Public people in bitcoin require a different and extra plan to protect themselves.
But hyperbitcoinization will happen anyway.
