I use many methods and each one with a backup in another method, in another location.
But most important is to split all the stash into 3 levels: hold, cache, spend.

As methods I use:
- password managers (Keepass + Bitwarden self custody) on different encrypted USB sticks and also on different remote private NAS.
- steganography (embed words into images)
- TailsOS USBs with encrypted persistent partition where is stored a copy of a password manager file. This is for emergency and traveling.
- one of my substack guides contain inserted 12 words from a wallet. Find it if you can.
- I put 12 words on 12 mountain peaks. Me and my daughter are the only ones knowing the order and location.
I do not use anymore hardware wallets. I gave them away years ago. I know what am I doing so those are not useful for me.
