They've been doing that for a decade now, it's just become more apparent.

Had iOS 8 not bricked a soon-to-be given iPhone 5S, I would have dealt with this crap from twelve years old.

So essentially Apple phones are useless for any no-KYC bitcoin or LN tools.
They're shooting themselves in the foot, just like Ledger did.
