Yes ... I think we need logged in folks to be able to opt-out of subs or make most non-consensus ones opt-in.

Yes, I agree. I feel like that goes into the direction of the tag system proposed by @skreep_ (which really resonated with me) since it also goes in the direction of personal feeds.

I have a UI mockup in mind so people can select which subs/tags they want to see. Will see if I can show it to you tomorrow

I'm glad to hear it resonated with you. I was near ready call off work to start writing out a whitepaper to explain it because I really felt like I was onto something with it haha
