yeah most of the data on lightning is locked behind closed doors (of either companies or node operators).
whenever companies or node operators are willing to share their data i like to call attention to it because it’s really helpful as a communications tool, but getting data for the entire ecosystem is nearly impossible.
and while in some ways it’s frustrating to not be able to communicate the state of the entire network to newcomers, it also protects user privacy which is probably the right trade-off to make.
