This is so true even for the middle and lower class boomers. I was talking to my mom about this and she was overjoyed the debt ceiling was raised I told her I wasn’t nothing was solved. Then I further explained to her how her father (my grandfather) didn’t depend on the government to care for his wife and children. Even in retirement he took care of business to secure enough resources to make sure himself and my grandma had a comfortable retirement. But boomers just don’t get it. They feel so entitled so dependent on the government!
I'm not proficient enough to do it, but an ambitious guy could just clone the SN code and create a sports forum with LN tipping. If it catches on, I'll join the Mets, Jets, Isles and Knicks subs (no cracks that I support the loser NY teams).
There was a recent post talking about forking SN for different topics. You could consider a separate coding and development fork that is not specifically bitcoin related.
My idea is also to open a way for tech devs into bitcoin and add some trafic to sn
Opening my personalized sn for tech may not work because all of thos who will join have no bitcoin or bitcoin knowledge so there is no sats upvote (it will be like an another regular website)
