Have you been affected by the Ledger situation? Have you started to think about the security and reliability of the hardware wallets you use?
Assuming, on the assumption that all hardware wallet vendors are potentially fraudulent, what alternatives for large amounts of bitcoin would you use?
I've been giving this some thought recently. I think I might get a few different hardware wallets and spread the coin around. @DarthCoin has a good article on creating a wallet on a USB stick.

Can you share a link to this article?

Still kinda new here, wasn't sure if it's proper etiquette to give you a link to another Stacker's article when there are potentially sats involved but on the other hand, delayed access to useful info = lost sats, so I'll take the risk :-).

There's no problem with that, don't worry) Thanks

I have 2 ledger wallets that I was planning on using in a multisig wallet. Since the Ledger situation I decided to build a seedsigner. I'll probably just use the seedsigner for all keys since it supports multisig really well. Another option I thought of was simple using 1 ledger, 1 seedsigner, 1 bluewallet, or buy a jade, or something else in my multisig, therefore it wouldn't matter if any 1 wallet had an issue.
