I guess you could say it's just another crypto project. They integrate technology to scan your iris as a form of identification and the project aims to facilitate a universal basic income to people around the world (by scanning your iris, it can be confirmed that you are a unique, actual human)
Personally, I'm not interested, for 3 reasons:
  1. I don't like providing biometric data to a project that isn't fully operational as of yet. Track record and how the data will be used exactly is uncertain
  2. I don't think providing people with a universal basic income would solve the financial issues that we have. A lot of people aren't good at spending money according to their own needs, so throwing them with money will likely have that money end up in places that already have a ton of money as they will likely try to exploit basic income receivers as much as possible, knowing their weakness and the fact that they get free money (I don't know what the actual solutions should be, just pointing out that I don't think a universal basic income is the right one)
  3. It's not Bitcoin
