In the legacy fiat world, unless you have a verifiable identity (ie. you are human) you can’t really “own” anything.
With Bitcoin and Lightning integration it has become possible for an AI bot to acquire wealth and spend it in order to accomplish tasks.
Soon enough it may be possible for a bot to leverage a small amount of BTC (initially given to it by a human) to obtain even more simply by out-competing humans in the open market.
The AI will have no need–and perhaps no inclination–to ever hand over its keys to a human.
Reality? Sci-fiction?
has been reality for a long time. Those are called corporations.
There have been legal debates decades ago about corporations owned by corporations, with no humans involved. And the humans working in corporations are turned, under the guise of "professionalism", turned into algorithms executing corporate script - just try to talk to a company representative anytime.
AIs are just extensions of those corporate algorithms. Try to ask chatgPT anything that a corporation could be made liable for and it'll give you a typical corporate BS answer.
Where is the change here?
